Having a smile you’re proud of not only makes us look good, but importantly – make us feel more confident. At David Neal Dental Northampton, crooked teeth can be a thing of the past.
We offer a range of teeth straightening treatments including Invisalign clear aligners – the world-renowned near-invisible teeth straightening treatment that can deliver results in as little as 6 months. Invisalign treatment is only available from dentists who have completed Invisalign specialised training.
With Invisalign treatment, you wear a series of clear aligners that are specially created to correct crowded teeth. Each aligner gradually adjusts the position of your teeth until you achieve lovely straight teeth and a beautiful smile. Made from a clear, flexible plastic, the aligners are virtually invisible – there are no brackets or wires on show, unlike traditional dental braces.
And a key advantage of Invisalign is that the aligners are removable, so you can take them out when you eat and drink, and to clean your teeth. Invisalign treatment also comes with free tooth whitening – so you really can have a stunning, bright new smile. Ask your David Neal Dental dentist about tooth straightening today – we will find the right solution for you.
A whiter, brighter smile can make you feel more confident, and at David Neal Dental Northampton we have the teeth whitening solution for you.
Teeth naturally become less bright over time, due in part to what we eat and drink; e.g. red wine, tea and coffee. Maintaining a good at-home dental care routine, including a good brushing technique, and regular dental hygienist visits can help minimise stains and discolouration.
Teeth whitening is a cosmetic dental treatment that uses professionally approved whitening products to safely brighten your smile. Treatments can be in-practice with a dentist, at home using professional whitening kits, or both.
Boutique Whitening is a leading, premium at-home teeth whitening system that delivers superior results and you’ll notice a whiter smile in just a few days.
Boutique whitening gels use a soluble action formula that removes surface stains and penetrates deep into the tooth.
As with all cosmetic dentistry or smile makeover treatments, our dentist will confirm your suitability, and show you how to use the trays and gels.
Top-up gel to whiten teeth after initial treatment is available from our practice.

At your first consultation, your dentist takes impressions of your teeth.
The impressions are used to create custom-made trays that exactly fit the shape of your teeth and gums.
They show you how to apply the bleaching gel at home, usually over the course of a few weeks.
Teeth whitening is suitable for most adults, but it’s important to be professionally assessed and treated by a dentist.
Occasionally, our dentists may feel a patient is unsuitable for treatment, for example if they have crowns or gum disease.
Your dentist or dental care professional, such as dental hygienists, will give you advice on the best whitening treatment for you.
Everyone will have a different outcome, but you teeth can be lightened by several shades.
Your dentist will show you a colour chart at the start and end of treatment so you’ll be able to see the effect that your whitening treatment has had on your smile.
Veneers are a smile makeover or cosmetic treatment used to improve the appearance of a single tooth or the whole front section of your teeth.
A popular dental bonding solution, they can hide imperfections such as crooked or crowded teeth, discoloured teeth or when a patient is unhappy with the shape of their smile.
Only minimal preparation of the treated tooth or teeth is required.
Veneer treatment requires patients to attend two consultations with their dentist.
The first appointment is for the preparation of your tooth or teeth, and second for the veneer fitting.
If you’re considering dental veneer treatment, please speak to your dentist. They will be able to explain the process and discuss your options and suitability.

Dental crowns and bridges can be used as a restorative treatment, or in cosmetic dentistry to improve the look of your teeth and smile.
As well as protecting weakened teeth, crowns can restore the appearance of treated teeth. Made from tooth-coloured porcelain they can be colour-matched to surrounding teeth so they fit naturally into your smile.
Dental bridges are artificial teeth that are used to fill the gaps left by one or more missing teeth. They are bonded to neighbouring existing teeth – these can be natural teeth or dental implants. As they are bonded in place they so they can remain permanently in situ – they are not removable by the patient.

If your dentures, or your loose and missing teeth make it hard to eat normally, dental implants offer a long-lasting and life-changing solution.
The closest dental option to natural teeth, they restore your ability to bite and chew normally, and give you natural-looking fixed teeth. As a “fixed” solution, unlike dentures, they are not removed for cleaning.
Dental implants are titanium screws that are surgically inserted by your implant dentist into your jawbone to replace your natural tooth roots.
A single crown, or full bridge of artificial teeth, is then securely fixed onto the dental implants.
They remain in place night and day- they are not removable like a denture.
Dental implants can be used to replace single, multiple or full arches of teeth.

Please contact us if we can help regarding any of the above areas.
At David Neal Dental we offer an advanced “Teeth in a Day” same day dental treatment.
Sometimes known as All on Four dental implants or same day teeth, implants and a full set of fixed teeth are placed at a single surgical appointment, restoring your oral health and a beautiful new smile.
It takes about three months for your bone to integrate with the dental implants – this is known as osseointegration.
Once the healing phase is complete, your implant dentist will exchange your first set of teeth for your final, long-lasting set at a non-surgical appointment.
