Dr Paula Richardson qualified with a Bachelor of Dental Science at the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa in 1986. After four years in private practice, she moved London, relocating to Somerset in 2000. There she owned the Ilchester Dental Practice for many years, leaving in 2018.

She took a belated gap year (extended by Covid), during which she walked the Camino de Santiago and attended a Spanish school in Bilbao for three months.

Paula has completed many post-graduate courses and mini-residencies in all aspects of dentistry with some of the world’s leading dental professionals, both in the UK and abroad.

She has a special interests in early interceptive orthopaedics for children, smile enhancement procedures including tooth whitening and veneers, straightening teeth using aligners, and comprehensive general dental care with the aim of keeping lifetime dentistry to a minimum.

In her spare time Paula enjoys walking, golf, glamping and exploring the world.

Dr Peter Ruzzene is a highly skilled dentist from South Africa with decades of experience, specializing in biomimetic dentistry, Invisalign treatments, aesthetic veneers, complex full mouth rehabilitations, treatment dental wear, smile makeovers, implantology, and root treatments. Known for preserving natural tooth structure, he employs advanced techniques and materials to achieve minimally invasive restorations. His expertise in full mouth rehabilitations and smile makeovers transforms challenging cases, restoring both function and aesthetics.

Peter is deeply committed to continuous professional development, actively participating in professional organizations and staying updated with the latest advancements in dentistry. His contributions to dental literature and frequent attendance at lectures at national and international conferences reflect his dedication to advancing the field.

Dr Liliana Ruzzene, BDS (Summa Cum Laude, University of Witwatersrand, 1985), M. Dent (Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery, 1991), and Fellow of the College of Medicine of South Africa (FFD, MFOS, 1991), is a distinguished Implant Surgeon and Specialist Oral Surgeon (GDC No. 70039).

Renowned for her expertise in complex bone grafting, dental implants, and aesthetically challenging cases, she leverages the latest advancements in computer-guided implant placement. Dr Ruzzene’s career, spanning several decades, includes extensive experience in maxillofacial and oral surgery, with a robust foundation in implantology since 1990. She is dedicated to comprehensive oral surgical care, including wisdom teeth removal, bone augmentation, and sinus grafting.

An active educator, she runs implant courses and mentorship programs, and has lectured internationally. Her contributions to dental literature and professional affiliations highlight her commitment to excellence and continuous professional development.

Originally from Brazil, Ana worked for three years in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department at the Morriston Hospital in Swansea. Her role involved working in a highly complex and dynamic area of dentistry, providing her with invaluable experience and able to hone many of her skill sets. In 2021 she completed a PGDip in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry.

Ana worked in a number of dental practices before joining David Neal Langport in March 2022 as a General and Cosmetic Dentist. Her goal as a dentist is to enhance her patient’s quality of life and to provide them with the ability to smile with confidence.

Ana now lives in Somerset with her husband Michael. She enjoys balancing her personal and professional life; she particularly enjoys surfing and all things outdoors, whilst also getting involved with her local church.

Dr Thomas Keramidas is a private dentist with a strong focus on restorative and aesthetic dentistry. He qualified at Aristotle University in Greece and later completed a three-year Master’s degree in Aesthetic Dentistry at King’s College London, graduating with distinction.

His practice is centred on delivering high-quality restorative and aesthetic dental care tailored to each patient’s individual needs. He focuses on preserving natural tooth structure where possible while restoring function, comfort and aesthetics through carefully planned, evidence-based treatment designed to achieve natural and long-lasting results.
