Dr Paula Richardson qualified with a Bachelor of Dental Science at the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa in 1986. After four years in private practice, she moved London, relocating to Somerset in 2000. There she owned the Ilchester Dental Practice for many years, leaving in 2018.
She took a belated gap year (extended by Covid), during which she walked the Camino de Santiago and attended a Spanish school in Bilbao for three months.
Paula has completed many post-graduate courses and mini-residencies in all aspects of dentistry with some of the world’s leading dental professionals, both in the UK and abroad.
She has a special interests in early interceptive orthopaedics for children, smile enhancement procedures including tooth whitening and veneers, straightening teeth using aligners, and comprehensive general dental care with the aim of keeping lifetime dentistry to a minimum.
In her spare time Paula enjoys walking, golf, glamping and exploring the world.
Dr. Peter Ruzzene qualified from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa, in 1979, with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. He commenced practicing in his private practice in Johannesburg shortly thereafter.
Peter’s philosophy is to offer complete dentistry starting at the jaws and muscles, often the cause of many dental problems. Once addressed, dental treatment has a far better chance of lasting results.
Peter also focuses on functional jaw orthopaedics, intercepting jaw size problems early in childhood. He offers a complete range of aesthetic and implant dentistry, ranging from simple occlusal adjustments and bonding of some teeth to full smile makeovers.
Peter’s priority is to stay up to date technically and technologically with constant continuing education, ensuring his patients receive the best dental care available.
Peter enjoys rugby, golf, clay pigeon shooting and photography.
Liliana graduated with BDS Magna Cum Laude, at the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa in 1985, receiving numerous awards including the Gold Medal of the Dental Association of South Africa for the most outstanding graduate.
She went on to specialize in Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery in the University of the Witwatersrand Department of Surgery.
In 1991 she attained a Masters Degree in Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery and her Fellowship in Maxillofacial and Oral Surgery through the College of Medicine of South Africa. She is a registered Specialist Oral Surgeon with the General Dental Council.
Liliana deals with all aspects of oral surgery, implantology, wisdom teeth removals, exposure of impacted teeth, bone augmentation procedures, pathology, and surgical aesthetics. Committed to continuing education, she ensures her patients receive outstanding surgical care.
Liliana is married with a teenage son.
Originally from Brazil, Ana worked for three years in the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Department at the Morriston Hospital in Swansea. Her role involved working in a highly complex and dynamic area of dentistry, providing her with invaluable experience and able to hone many of her skill sets. In 2021 she completed a PGDip in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry.
Ana worked in a number of dental practices before joining David Neal Langport in March 2022 as a General and Cosmetic Dentist. Her goal as a dentist is to enhance her patient’s quality of life and to provide them with the ability to smile with confidence.
Ana now lives in Somerset with her husband Michael. She enjoys balancing her personal and professional life; she particularly enjoys surfing and all things outdoors, whilst also getting involved with her local church.
