The team have been busy putting processes in place and have built on our current infection control procedures to ensure the environment you return to is safe and provides the highest protection against COVID-19, both for our patients and our staff.
We are now able to carry out treatment which is deemed an ‘Aerosol Generating Procedure.’ This includes permanent fillings, teeth cleaning and all other treatments which require the use of the dental drill. We are currently working through our list of patients who contacted us during the lockdown period. Due to the process for Aerosol Generating Treatments, we are unable to offer appointments on Tuesdays or Wednesdays for these treatments and it may take us longer than usual to see you. Please bear with us during this period.
We have made some changes to our patient journey to assist with reducing transmission of the virus and maintaining social distancing as far as reasonably practicable. When making an appointment, the Reception Team will discuss our new processes and procedures for attending the practice and answer any questions you may have.
