Dr Eial Makori, has worked as a general and private cosmetic dentist for 20 years, building a reputation for creating beautiful, natural-looking smiles.

Eial is both a practising dentist and the Clinical Director at David Neal Dental.

What is your background?

I graduated as a Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the University of Witwatersrand Dental School, Johannesburg in 1997 before relocating to the UK.

For the past 20 years I’ve worked as a general and private cosmetic dentist, working alongside specialists in multi-disciplinary practices, prescribing, carrying out and overseeing every stage of the patient’s treatment journey.

What are your special interests

My real passion lies in dental rehabilitation, transforming heavily broken-down dentition into a healthy, natural-looking smile.

For me, dentistry isn’t just about teeth, it’s about helping people feel good about themselves again.

What does your role as Clinical Director involve?

As Clinical Director, I’m responsible for overseeing clinical standards across our group of practices: Eastbourne, Hastings, Northampton and Langport.

From hygiene to root canal therapy and cosmetic restorations, our teams offer a full spectrum of private dental care.

Our ethos is centred around tailored patient journeys, not one size fits all. It’s about doing what is right for the patient, 100% of the time.

Who do you work alongside?

It varies from day to day but, as Clinical Director, I work particularly closely with the dentists, hygienists and dental nurses.

Every single person at David Neal plays an important part in the high-quality dentistry we offer.

What experience in dental implants?

I have extensive experience of the Teeth in a Day (All on 4) same day dental implant technique where we place dental implants and secure a full set of teeth in one procedure.

Patients come in hiding their teeth afraid to smile, and leave with beaming smiles, showing off their beautiful new teeth.

We do offer conventional implant treatments, but I like to say that All on 4 treats patients not teeth.

And as we fit a full set of fixed teeth on the same day as the implants, the patient is never without teeth. Unlike conventional implant treatments, patients never walk around with gaps or a denture during the healing phase.

What does that mean for patients?

Teeth in a Day treatment is literally life-changing for people who struggle to eat the food they want, can’t bite into an apple, hate wearing dentures and are ashamed and embarrassed by their teeth.

It’s perfect for nervous – or even terrified – patients as it’s a single day of surgery carried out under sedation, so they don’t feel a thing.

Not only that, anxious patients can feel reassured that follow-up appointments are shorter and simpler.

But most importantly, we always work with the patient to find the right treatment option for them.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

I love the relationships I have with my patients. It’s wonderful helping people regain their smiles and sense of confidence.

It sounds corny, but dental rehabilitation can be truly transformational.

We see patients who’ve lived with pain or loose dentures, for years.

With the right treatment, we can turn that around in just one day.

The boost to their confidence often takes them by surprise – the confidence to smile again and eat comfortably without worry.

The most common thing I hear? “I wish I’d done this sooner.”

What makes David Neal Dental different?

We’re proud to be a family-owned clinic.

We treat people the way we’d want our own families to be treated – with respect, empathy, and a genuine commitment to results.

Whatever your treatment, we take our time, and we listen.

We want every patient to feel they’re in safe hands.
