Dental implants are a clinically proven, long term tooth replacement treatment for failing or missing teeth, or for dentures.
Dental implant treatment can have life-changing benefits, giving you the freedom to eat without worry and to smile with confidence.
Once inserted into your jawbone to replace natural tooth roots, a crown or bridge of teeth is secured on top of the implants.
The result is stable replacement teeth with no gaps, enabling you to bite and chew normally and improving the aesthetics of your smile.
Dental implants are a “fixed” solution.
This means that, unlike dentures, they remain securely in place night and day, just like natural teeth.
At David Neal Dental we offer a range of implant solutions that we tailor to your personal needs including:
Conventional dental implants to replace single or multiple missing teeth
Teeth in Day dental implants to replace full arches of failed or failing teeth
Teeth in an Hour – immediate loading dental implants and crowns to replace missing front teeth.
Successful dental implant treatment depends upon multiple factors, including the experience of the surgeon and the quality of the implants themselves.
Dental implants at David Neal Dental are placed by specialists in implantology. We use only the highest quality implants, tried and tested for reliability and long-term results.
Our specialists, Dr Michael Zybutz (specialist periodontist) and Dr Liliana Ruzzene (specialist oral surgeon at Langport) each have over 30 years experience in the precise placement of dental implants – delivering consistently outstanding clinical and aesthetic results.
Due to their extensive experience, we routinely accept referrals to safely treat the most complex cases.
Michael is one of a few UK dentists with the skill and experience to place zygomatic implants (cheekbone implants).

We use state of the art technology, including 3D imaging and digital impressions, to accurately assess bone density, jaw structure and oral health.
This allows us to create detailed, personalised treatment plans and guided implant surgery tailored to each patient’s anatomy and needs.
Whatever your personal dental needs and wishes, we have the experience, skills and technology to provide a solution that is right for you and the very highest standards of dental care.
We accept referrals from both dental professionals and self-referred patients.

Dental implants are titanium screws that are surgically inserted into the jawbone to replace natural tooth roots. They provide a stable base to support a crown or dental bridge of artificial teeth (also known as prosthetic teeth) that, once secured onto the implants, remain permanently in place.
Dental implants can replace single or multiple teeth.
Full jaw dental implants replace full upper and / or lower arches of teeth
Dental implants could be the right solution for you if:
Dental implants are a tooth replacement solution suitable for most adults.
Teeth in a Day same day dental implants (the most advanced technique in implant dentistry), can be life-changing for patients requiring full upper or lower arch reconstruction. Oral health and quality of life are restored; no more infections, no more avoiding hard, chewy foods or hot and cold drinks.
Bone graft treatment is not usually required, even for people with extreme gum disease, bone loss or poor bone density.
As with any dental surgical procedure, every patient should be carefully assessed for suitability for dental implant treatment. Everyone has their own medical history and personal needs.
At David Neal Dental, all patients considering dental implants attend an initial consultation with one of our highly trained implant dentists.
We’ll talk to you about your dental problems, your personal needs and wishes, and your medical history. We’ll also give you a thorough mouth examination and explain the dental treatments available to you.
If your dentist feels you are likely to be suitable for dental implants, and if you wish to progress, the next stage is to have a CT scan.
If we feel dental implants are not an appropriate treatment, we will explain why and help find the best option for you.
CT (Computerised Tomography) scans show the quantity and quality of your underlying bone i.e. bone that is not visible to the naked eye.
The CT scans are analysed by your implant surgeon to definitively confirm your suitability.
They are also used to ensure precise implant placement during surgery.
Once suitability is confirmed, we provide you with a detailed treatment plan, outlining all aspects of your treatment to replace your missing teeth. The treatment plan includes the cost of treatment.
Occasionally, a patient may be assessed as unsuitable for dental implants. In these instances, your dentist will discuss alternative solutions with you.
If dental implants are well cared for, they can last many years, even a lifetime. Once treatment is complete, a good at-home oral hygiene routine is vital to ensure longevity of the implants.
We advise seeing your dentist and dental hygienist regularly so they can check your dental implants as part of your overall dental health.
